Well, that didn't happen.. I completed French training, and then another round.. I still only have a CBB profile. C's are better than B's in the Government's marking scheme.. E's are the best as in Exempt. CBB translates to C in comprehension, B in grammar / writing, B in oral communication. Pretty much any position that I would be interested in requires CBC.
Wish me luck..

What is FLT?
FLT - French Language Training
One of the ways the GOC (Government of Canada) encourages the provision of government services in both languages is the policy of equiping it's employees with a comfort level in both official languages.
As a GOC Employee, I'm in a Bilingual (English/French) position rated at BBB. I'll go into the scoring in a posting to come.
I'm currently in training (third day today) to obtain the BBB proficiency level as tested here:
http://www.psc-cfp.gc.ca/ppc/sle_pg_01a_e.htm
I plan to use this blog as a space to encourage my continued involvement in the required homework.
As time goes on, I plan to start posting in French.
Must run to class now!
